Art Show tickets are on sale now!

The Pegasus Bay School PTA would like to formally invite you to our 4th annual Art Show, where more than 80 Canterbury artists will be exhibiting a variety of different pieces from Friday 20 September until Sunday 22 September.

Tickets are now on sale from the school office or The Good Home, Pegasus. The weekend will look like this: Opening Evening (ticketed): Friday 20th September 7 pm – 10.30 pm $20 pp Friday's 'Opening Evening' is a ticketed event, giving you the opportunity to buy your favourite art works before the public event on Saturday and Sunday. Your ticket gets you your first drink from the bar and nibbles, while enjoying music from one of our very talented teachers - Gina Keating.

*Please note the opening is an R18 event due to our liquor licence. You are welcome to bring your children during the weekend. Public (non-ticketed): Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September 10.00am to 4.00pm. Gold Coin entry Pedal Mania will be onsite Saturday 12 – 3 pm. We will also have tea/coffee/baking that can be purchased from our café. Art Workshops: This year we are running Saturday workshops by local artists – something for both adults and children. Learn how to create a Pen and Wash painting with Quilliam Collister (ages 12 and up) Local watercolour artist Quilliam will teach you how to create your own Pen and wash paintings, and show you some watercolour techniques. $50pp 10am-12:30pm Learn how to paint an animal with Deb Williams (ages 12 and up) NO previous artistic experience or ability to draw is needed! We will cover a few basic classic painting skills and also embrace colour and movement! $25 pp “Paint an animal” For this session there will be different animals to choose from 10:30 am -12 pm Make a mini Rainbow wall hanging with Kirstee Griffiths from Hibiscus (all ages however children under 10 welcome with parent supervision) $35 pp 10 am – 12 pm Make a Macrame Feather wall hanging with Kirstee Griffiths from Hibiscus (ages 11 and up) $35 pp 1 pm – 3 pm Canvas painting for kids with Bronwyn Hunter (suitable for ages 7 – 14) $15 pp 2 pm – 3 pm Bookings can be made via our email pegasusbayartshow@gmail.com Helpers Required A small group of parent volunteers have put this event together but we do need extra help to run it over the weekend.
