Our sixth Pegasus Bay Art Show will be on 5 and 6 April 2025, with a ticketed opening night on Friday 4 April. 

 

It promises to be another great event, with something for everyone. Over 60 professional artists from throughout Canterbury will be exhibiting a wide variety of artworks for sale at the show.

There will also be artwork on display created by the students of Pegasus Bay School.

The opening of the show on Friday 4 April from 7pm is a ticketed event and gives you the first opportunity to purchase the stunning artworks on show with a glass of bubbles and nibbles. We will update this page, and our Art Show Facebook page with details on how to purchase tickets for opening night closer to the time.

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 the show is open from 10am-4pm, and is just a gold coin donation entry.

Our art show is a community event and fundraiser with at least 25% commission from the art sales coming back to our kura. We use some of the money raised to purchase art supplies for the students and the rest will be put towards subsidising the costs of arts related trips and events for all students.

 

In 2023 we ‘shut the school’ and bussed everyone into town to see the ballet. This time we are hoping to raise enough to fund a theatre trip for everyone later in 2025.
